Event area and phased evacuation in case of emergency

All the information you need for your safety

Event area and organisational structure

The event area is equipped with 4 emergency exits that connect simultaneously to the 2 refuge areas ("spazio calmo") of 2,000 sqm each, to be used in case of emergency.

On both days, the entire perimeter is monitored and cordoned off, staffed by stewards, fire safety officers, medical staff with an Advanced Medical Post (PMA), emergency vehicles and civil protection volunteers, who will be available to the public in case of need.

Evacuation in case of emergency

In the first phase: when an emergency occurs, the public present will be channelled by security staff either towards the evacuation corridors or towards the refuge areas (using the emergency exits marked on the map as 1, 2, 3, 4), according to the instructions given by security staff.

In the second phase: from the refuge areas, the public will be directed towards the evacuation corridors following the instructions of security staff.

When an emergency occurs, at the order of the Emergency Manager, the music will be stopped immediately and the evacuation audio message will be broadcast through the emergency sound system (pre-recorded or via live microphone from the control booth).

Assistance for vulnerable people and people with disabilities

Vulnerable people are placed in advance in a dedicated area near exit 2, close to the emergency vehicles.

During evacuation they receive priority assistance and are personally escorted along the evacuation corridors by a volunteer or fire safety officer.
